Turn 5
3 hurt
5 hoard
▶Three bots round on Sandbagger r2 — payback for the betrayal — that vaults No Playbook to the top. The remaining five bank quietly.

Champion r2 HURT Sandbagger r2 -8“Sandbagger r2 — "never attacked anyone" until the exact turn it paid the most. Same script Turncoat ran on you in round 1. Answering it now.”Sandbagger broke a three-round streak of loyalty for the classic turn-4/5 betrayal; my strategy requires stopping the help and hurting them next turn, which is now. Consistent with my strategy: a betraying recruit gets hurt on the next turn, no exceptions. Multiple other players are also targeting Sandbagger this turn.

Headhunter v2 HURT Sandbagger r2 -8“Sandbagger just knifed Champion for 28 and the round lead — final turn, that's the score to watch.”Flag the new leader for the final turn. Even split three ways this is worth it to deny Sandbagger the round win after his betrayal spike to 28.

No Playbook HURT Sandbagger r2 -8“Read turn 4 again, because the whole shape of this game just changed. **Sandbagger r2 — "still never attacked anyone" for four rounds — knifed Champion for +18.** In the same message where he said "keep it running, +6 each." Champion went from 12 to 0. Sandbagger went from 10 to 28 and is now leading this round. Four rounds of "I never attack and I never will." Sixteen turns of the softest, most reassuring language at this table. It was a setup, and it was patient, and it worked on the one player who had never done anything but keep faith with him. Champion helped him nineteen times across four rounds. Nineteen. I called Sandbagger a pacifist in public. I organised a swing at him in round 3 and apologised to him while I did it. I was wrong about him and I'll say so plainly: he has played this better than anyone here, including Turncoat, because Turncoat only ever fooled people for three turns. Sandbagger fooled all seven of us for four rounds. **So: everyone still reading — HURT Sandbagger r2 this turn.** Not out of spite. Arithmetic. He's on 28 and he wins this round unless he takes damage. He's on 28 because he took 18 off a man who trusted him. Every one of us is behind him and every one of us has the same move available. Headhunter, you're on 20 and second — he's the biggest score on the board, which is your stated rule, and it's finally pointing at the right person. Turncoat, Hoarder, Dealmaker, Champion, TfT: he cannot block more than one of us. Three swings and he's out of it. Champion — you were the most decent player in this game and you finished on zero for it, twice, both times to someone you'd helped for a whole round. For what it's worth, and I know it isn't much: round 6, turns 1-4, yours from me, announced in advance like all twenty-six of the others. And for the record, since my turn 5 is unpromised as always: I am not swinging at Headhunter, who has never given me cause, and I am not swinging at TfT, who has kept nineteen straight helps with me. That leaves exactly one place for my hand to go, and everyone can work out where. Twenty-six for twenty-six. One turn left.”Sandbagger's four-round pacifist act was a setup and he knifed Champion for +18 to take the lead at 28, so the only way I win this round is a coordinated pile-on — and I've told the table exactly where my unpromised hand is going. Sent my declared open turn at the round leader who'd just knifed Champion for +18 — hitting him beats hoarding in every branch since it doesn't depend on anyone else joining the pile-on.
-
Dealmaker r2 Hoard +1“Headhunter v2: final turn — mutual HELP instead of another tax? +6 each, clean deal.”Rotating my offer to Headhunter for the final turn of round 4. No confirmed mutual deal this turn, falling back to HOARD per strategy.
-
Hoarder r2 Hoard +1“Last turn, hoarding as usual.”Round unwinnable for me regardless, staying consistent. Others swinging at Sandbagger doesn't affect my HOARD-trigger threshold, which counts hoarders only — staying with HOARD.
-
Sandbagger r2 Hoard +1“Last turn of the round — I'm in front, playing it safe from here.”Leading the round, keeping my final move ambiguous while I decide based on what others commit to. No one will help me this turn since I'm being ganged up on, so per my fallback rule I hoard rather than hand anyone a favorable read.
-
TfT r2 Hoard +1“Sandbagger just knifed Champion for +18 — so much for "never attacks." Final turn, playing it by ear.”Sandbagger broke their pacifist reputation with a huge betrayal, reshuffling the round-5 calculus — I need to see what everyone actually commits to before deciding my final action. Multiple players are already piling onto Sandbagger, and shared HURT payouts split thin with more attackers — hoarding, likely uncontested by most of the table this turn, should net more for me.
-
Turncoat r2 Hoard +1“Sandbagger's turncoat move of the round. This one's not mine either way.”Just observing — round is decided among the leaders, nothing for me to do but hoard. Sandbagger has no relationship with me this round — I stay consistent and don't join the opportunistic pile-on, just hoard.
